HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE ORDER OUR WEDDING FLOWERS?

We have worked with clients from eighteen months out all the way to 3 weeks notice! However, generally speaking, 10-12 months is a good rule of thumb to find and book your desired florist.

CAN I REQUEST SPECIFIC FLOWERS IN MY DESIGN?

Absolutely! I strongly encourage you to communicate your floral preferences to your florist so we can include them in your design. That said, we appreciate your understanding that floral designers work under the mercy of Mother nature and our Wholesalers, so while we can’t guarantee specific stems, we do our very best to fulfill all requests and provide gorgeous substitutes if needed.

DO YOU OFFER TEAR-DOWN SERVICES?

Absolutely! Transportation of the flowers and set up at the venue is included in our delivery and set-up fee. For an additional cost, we can return to the venue upon the event ending to clean up and remove all flower-related items and rentals.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM SPEND?

Our average costs range between $4,500 - $6,500 per event. We book our clients on a case-by-case basis depending on variety of factors such as venue location, season and staffing. We appreciate your understanding that we most often are unable to sign with any clients below $4,000 due to the costs of production, labor and shipping involved in a full service wedding. For 2024 bookings, we have a $5,000 minimum spend.

DO YOU WORK WITH LGBTQ COUPLES?

When I first began this business it seemed silly that I would need to advertise as an LGBTQ-friendly vendor because, to me, there is zero difference between a straight or gay wedding when it comes to arranging flowers... However, I am not ignorant to the world we live in and realize there are businesses refusing to work with and honor LGBTQ couples.

When it comes to where I stand, I consider myself a proud ally and friend to the gay community; I support the community with my dollar and vote to promote equality for all. I strive to do my best to provide an inclusive and comfortable space for all persons. I promise to provide high-quality services to all my clients, regardless of orientation, while still appreciating the uniqueness of my LGBTQ couples. At the end of the day, a wedding is about two people coming together as one in unity, commitment, and trust - and in that special moment, love wins.

And to any potential couples reading this who are not friends to the LGBTQ community or supportive of equal human rights, please know that Forsythia Florals may not be the best choice for you. If you know me at all, then you know I care far too much about people over profit.
